Biography:
Lynsey Steinberg is the Director of Innovation with Strategic Partnerships and Economic Development at Augusta University. She is a Board-Certified Medical Illustrator and a doctoral student in Computer and Cyber Sciences. Since joining Augusta University in 2012, she has taught in the Medical Illustration and Entrepreneurship programs and holds degrees from the Savannah College of Art and Design and the Medical College of Georgia.
Lynsey led the development of the Augusta University INNOVATE student pitch competition, Regional Innovation Advisory Committee, and the Certificate in Leadership in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Her work spans leadership, the science of motivation, human centered design thinking, and community research including award-winning projects in public health and emergency personal protection equipment production during the COVID-19 pandemic. She brings strong experience in small business development, market research, and strategic development across industries like healthcare, pharma, and equestrian management. As the Director of Innovation, she supports regional entrepreneurial pipelines and forges interdisciplinary partnerships to drive impact.
Currently, her research passions include studying development in virtual reality under the advisement of Dr. Jason Orlosky for the benefit of healthcare individuals through empathy and motivation.
